Painting in rhythm
Gregory has been working with visual medias for a long time. Before that came the music, more precisely the drums. Then sounds, then visuals. He started making live visuals for his bands then for other bands and DJs. Making these images led to making music videos. Gregory's artistic journey took him to painting; a way to (re)connect the senses, the feelings, the touch. A hands-on experience. His approach to the canvas is much like the drums: laying a foundation, a rhythm then explore colors through shapes and forms.
Living in Los Angeles, colors permeate his work. It's an exploration of senses that reflects his journey and the world around him, looking for harmonies and beauty in the chaos.
